Churros

I came across this recipe in a story book. I tried few versions of Churros and found this is the best.

Ingredients:

1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1 cup plain flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups oil for frying

1 cup icing sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder

Method:

Put the water, butter and salt in a pot. Bring it to boil. When the butter has melted, turn off the heat and quickly stir in the flour. Stir the flour until it becomes thick paste and does not stick to the pot. Let the batter cool for 5 mins and then beat in the eggs one at a time. Using a pastry bag (or any plastic bag) attached with a star shape nozzle, pipe 3-4 inch pastries onto hot oil.. Fry until golden. Drain the oil and roll the hot Churros on the icing sugar and cinnamon mixture.
